Institute for Material Research
The Institute was established in 1999 to provide a focus for research on materials at the University of Salford.
DESCRIPTION
Its members, both scientists and engineers, are active in the development, characterisation and exploitation of new materials, both structural and functional. The Institute employs around 30 academic staff, 20 research staff and over 80 research students.
