UK Consortium for Photonics and Optics

The UK Consortium for Photonics and Optics is the voice of the UK photonics community.

DESCRIPTION

The UKCPO was founded by Professor Colin Webb of the University of Oxford and Chairman of Oxford Lasers. The consortium is currently led by the President, Professor Julian Jones and is driven by a board of members drawn from a wide range of industrial and professional organisations.

The premier UK optical conferences are led and organised by the UKCPO. The next on will be Photon 06 to be held in Manchester

The UKCPO is constructing a database of UK companies. The latest version, found on the website, invites European partners to complete an online survey for inclusion in the database.
