Optics and Photonics Research activities in Netherlands.

The Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs has started in 2005 a new national research programme in photonics, called IOP Photonic Devices. With this research programme the Ministry aims at strengthening the cooperation between research institutes and industrial companies. Photonic Devices play an important role in economy and science. Photonics is one of the key technologies for innovation. The first tender period for submitting proposals is open until June 30, 2006.
