MAIN SPANISH GRANTS
The R&D National Plan (2008-2011). It is the tool used by the Central Government to develop the programme related to R&D and the technology innovation. It is the mechanism to set objectives and priorities of the politics in R&D in a medium term, so as to design the instruments which assure their achievements. (http://www.plannacionalidi.es/). MOST IMPORTANT SPANISH LINKS
- Fotonica21 (www.fotonica21.org) is the Spanish Technology Platform. Its main goal is to address efficiently the innovation in the photonic sector, defining its applications in tour key sector: ICT, Manufacturin, Life Science, and Lighting.
- The Spanish Optical Society (www.sedoptica.es). Its goal is to stimulate the developments of the Optics. In particular, to promote the research, the education and the industrial applications of the different branches of Optics.
- CSIC (http://www.csic.es/centros_directorio.do?are=8905). The largest public research body in Spain.
- AIDO (www.aido.es). Technological Institute of Optics, Colour and Imaging is a private, non profit making association formed by businessmen and institutions which develop their professional activities within the field of optics applied to industry.
- The Valencia Nanophotonics Technology Centre (NTC) (www.ntc.upv.es) is a research centre inside the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (UPV), whose mission is to exert the leadership in Europe in the micro/nanofabrication of structures on silicon (Si), as a key support for the development of nanotechnology and nanoscience.
